Etelätär Innovation is an innovation-driven SME specialising in the digitalisation of mobility and critical infrastructures. The company develops AI-driven platforms, cyber-physical networks and digital solutions that transform data from physical infrastructures into real-time operational intelligence, supporting smarter, safer and more sustainable transport systems.

With extensive experience in European research and innovation projects, Etelätär combines technical development with market-oriented innovation to accelerate the adoption of digital solutions. The company has participated in numerous collaborative projects across mobility, transport digitalisation, battery technologies, circular economy and intelligent infrastructure, contributing expertise in software development, exploitation, communication and stakeholder engagement.

Within KEYSTONE, Etelätär contributes its expertise in digital transport solutions by developing software tools that support smart and seamless enforcement and by designing a secure, user-friendly web application for real-world deployment. The company also leads activities related to market uptake and business modelling, helping ensure that KEYSTONE's results can be successfully adopted beyond the project's lifetime.

As the leader of Work Package 3, Towards Plug & Play Implementation, Etelätär is responsible for the design and development of the project's web application and backend infrastructure, as well as the exploitation activities that prepare the solution for future market deployment.

Relevant Background & Expertise

Etelätär Innovation is responsible for developing the software tools to enable smart and seamless enforcement in the KEYSTONE project and also the creation of a simple but secure web app that can be used via all devices (from desktops via tablets to common smartphones) and with a sufficient development effort to match the scope of the project.

The company holds extensive experience in cutting-edge technologies and has been involved in various Research and Development projects in Europe and beyond. The company has actively participated in more than 10 projects, either as a coordinator, partner or linked third party in diverse fields such as mobility, second-life batteries, the automotive sector, mobile data and more.

Additionally, Etelätär Innovation holds a background in gathering and analysing data to understand market size, growth potential, target audience, and competitive landscape, and is responsible for the definition of the possible market uptake of the KEYSTONE solutions, and also the definition of the business models.
