Meet Etelätär Innovation OÜ (Etelätär)
Etelätär Innovation specialises in deploying and operating next-gen wayfinding, tracking, parking and fleet solutions linking data, persons, things, vehicles and infrastructures.
Etelätär Innovation is powered by the Beehive technology, a portfolio of next-gen solutions that connects smartphones with IoT proximity technologies to guide and track persons accurately and/or to share vehicles or parking spots.
In addition, it focused on green mobility by operating premium electro-mobility fleets and re-manufacturing retired lithium-ion batteries into high-quality, low-cost energy store systems.
The main vision of the company is to provide to the citizens an interconnected, low-carbon and resilient mobility, through a portfolio of innovative and smart solutions.
The overreaching goal of Etelätär’s activities is the creation of an advanced physical and digital infrastructure, where all citizens can be better connected to inclusive and clean mobility solutions, while vehicle parts and materials are kept in circulation, shaping a more competitive and prosperous future.
To achieve this, Etelätär holds a strategic partnership with leading Japanese engineering company OC Global and runs a Centre of Excellence for Collaborative Mobility together with UAX University and numerous partnerships and alliances with esteemed institutions in Europe and beyond.
Relevant Background & Expertise
Etelätär Innovation is responsible for developing the software tools to enable smart and seamless enforcement in the KEYSTONE project and also the creation of a simple but secure web app that can be used via all devices (from desktops via tablets to common smartphones) and with a sufficient development effort to match the scope of the project.
The company holds extensive experience in cutting-edge technologies and has been involved in various Research and Development projects in Europe and beyond. The company has actively participated in more than 10 projects, either as a coordinator, partner or linked third party in diverse fields such as mobility, second-life batteries, the automotive sector, mobile data and more.
Additionally, Etelätär Innovation holds a background in gathering and analysing data to understand market size, growth potential, target audience, and competitive landscape, and is responsible for the definition of the possible market uptake of the KEYSTONE solutions, and also the definition of the business models.
Etelätär Innovation has created throughout the years a robust network of contacts, facilitating the identification of suitable partnerships for ongoing and future projects.

Etelätär Innovation is the Leader of Work Package 3 Toward Plug & Play Implementation, aiming to design and develop a functional web app interface and backend ready for real-world piloting and also responsible for Task 3.4: Development of a web app & Task 6.4: Market uptake, focusing on reshaping the web app into a product for the market.
