Meet Dr Eusebiu Catana

Dr. Eusebiu Catana is a Senior Consultant for Innovation and advisor to CXOs on disruptive technologies for transport and logistics. He serves as a member of the DTLF Steering Committee supporting DG-MOVE, DG-CONNECT, DG-SPACE, and DG-Research (European Commission), founder of the FENIX 2.0 Cross-Border Data Sharing Worldwide Association, and a key contributor to the development of data spaces. He is also a member of ISO/TC 204, IEEE and AIOTI and has published research papers and research book chapters. He has also been the coordinator and project manager in many EU funded projects under CIP-IEE, CIP-EEN, Europe INNOVA initiative, FP6 and FP7, COSME, H2020, Horizon Europe, CEF, EIT Digital, AL-INVEST IV, gaining a proficient knowledge of rules and procedures governing the EU programmes. Areas of expertise include innovation and strategies for business development. In 2023, Dr. Eusebiu Catana received the European Innovation Award in Brussels for his contributions to digital transformation in the transportation industry. He was also honoured with the ICTStand 2023 Award by the European Commission for his role in the global development of ICT standards, and has also been awarded the 2024 IPv6 Hall of Fame.
